Anna Mary Wheeler’s latest collection of paintings have been made at her studio in Horsfield Bay on the Central Coast over the past year.

Wheeler has recently moved to working in acrylic paints after having allergies with oil paints .

Anna has been experimenting with brightly coloured fluoro paints and pouring paints. She has literally thrown the paints onto the canvas.” It is all about the fluidity of the paint and what it can do.” Anna has been inspired by Jackson Pollock in this series.

The energy is vibrant and positive in this series. The subjects such as her ever present goats,Mickey and Minnie Mouse, animals and mythological subjects all inform this body of work.

The Chaser Report Live and Arty

The Chaser Report podcast is recording an episode live in the middle of TAP gallery on Friday 17th November, 2023 at 7pm.

This very arty and exclusive event is to celebrate a photo art exhibition of the work of British photographer Jennifer Forward-Hayter, which included capturing the behind-the-scenes magic and mystery of The Chaser’s creative process during a two-month period last year.

The podcast will be recorded live, and will feature Charles Firth, Craig Reucassel, Gabbi Bolt and Mark Humphries as well as appearances from the Chaser Interns, who actually do all the work.

Together, they will talk about their own interactions with art, and more importantly, discuss how to scam yourself an arts grant through low-level fraud.

Tickets are $30.
