Former Sydney firefighter Chris Ryan studied Fine Arts at the National Art School in between shifts at Darlinghurst Fire Station. “Creative Arts was something I always enjoyed and I found it particularly therapeutic after many years of being in stressful situations.I have for the past 13 years divided my time between my rural property at Mudgee and Ubud ,Bali which I have found Inspirational. I find drawing the human figure Is like meditation and I get lost in the marks being transcribed onto the paper. An energetic and at the same time relaxing experience.”
