To celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, Women on Boards will award first prize for The International Women’s Day ART PRIZE at TAP Gallery on Tuesday 8^th March.

The International Womens Day Art Prize is now in its 13^th year. Last year saw more than 150 entries in all media and the winner was selected by guest judges. Also included was a people’s choice award inviting the attending public to vote for their favourite work on the evening.

“We are passionate about the progression of women in all walks of life and it’s for this reason we have set up this annual prize” said Ruth Medd, Chair, Women on Boards.

Women on Boards is the leading advocate for improving gender diversity on Australian boards and work to improve women’s access to, and opportunities to be selected for, board positions in all sectors.

The prize has an open theme allowing female artists to freely express themselves in all mediums & genres.

Celebrating International Women’s Day with the launch of the “WOB International Women’s Art Prize” TAP Gallery is featuring a week of Women’s events.  Stay tuned for more Women in film,music & much more. All of these events are open to the public and all are welcome.
