full bush BY EINAR 8-18 December 2021 – Opening Night: Wednesday 8th December 6-8pm

Have you ever gone
full bush?

Do you like to,
as the Japanese say,
go forest bathing?

Or do you only have time to dip a green thumb?

The truth is, even brief amounts of greenery and natural surroundings are beneficial for the spirit.

How many of us have relished our green spaces during recent times? Reconnected with our environment with an added intensity, as our worlds have shrunk to more immediate surrounds?

full bush is my ode to nature and my local green spaces; their escape from the madness of humanity. It’s a postcard; a series of mental escapes; an impression of nature’s calming abilities; its architectural magnificence.

Danielle Joy Golding – Paintings “On the symmetry of her psyche , and some other works” 6th -20th December 2020

Danielle Joy Golding

Danielle Joy Golding Art exhibition Painting

“On the symmetry of her psyche, and some other works”

Introducing a collection of works in the same format, all being 60 cms by 90cms, on plywood, painted in oil and varnished, a major theme and a few others but basically of different individual models with different compositions, presented as the same theme, “models “.

That vary in colour and schematic placement, moving from a consumerism and accessibility of models to an interpreted aesthetics , an artistic observation. The models are themselves painted realistically, are cued with varying colours and backgrounds and background Inclusions, a series all of beauty and aesthetics, and maybe a narrative involved in the story , the story included within the paintings , i.e. and we ask, Where is the model ? Or what is she doing? Changing in an inspiring way of human frailty and delicacy, to be appreciated again, the scene of and story of them, leaving the viewer perhaps with a glimpse of beauty. Seen through the eyes of an artist, a glimpse of female human aesthetics, of consumerism and the model and the industry/ market, where the model has been appraised and rehumanised, and her aesthetics are looked at, valued ,to be appreciated. Hope, to the barrenness of lifelessness , of ourselves , which we ask, And is beauty as humorous as it is rare? As we appreciate here, the examples of aesthetics .

The others here in the exhibition are paintings of the 2020 Bushfires, the movement of the flames, of bushfires early this year, and some Redly Caped Extinction Rebels /Activists and a landscape and another miscellaneous, mysterious work of a strange characteress indeed.

A fastly completed body of work, done during the Covid 19 crises of 2020 during social restriction and social distancing and even lockdown, showing some angst and anguish from us all during the time.

Tap Gallery

THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY – 4 STUDENTS FROM LENS SCHOOL Opening Tuesday 17th December 6pm

We have our end of year exhibition coming up, with all the work now at the framers. We have three classes filling Tap Gallery for a week. We hang on the 16th December, and are open from mid day to 6 pm every day until Sunday 22nd December. On Sunday afternoon I will be doing an artists talk at the gallery about the works and the techniques used in the exhibition between 2 & 4 pm.

Please join us for the opening between 6 pm and 8 pm on Tuesday 17th December. Tap Gallery Level 1/259 Riley St, Surry Hills.

The show is full of triptychs, each series of three is the favoUrite works for the year of each student. Something they would like to have on their own walls. Each artwork is framed and for sale at a very reasonable price of $245 per print. A3 prints in a 16 x 20 inch frame. Very reasonably priced and will make a great last minute Christmas gift. There will also be an assortment of beautiful greeting cards, and I will have some of my merchandise there too. Particularly my scarves, cushions and cards.

I am making a commitment to be there daily so that you can come and speak to me about Len’s School, what I teach, and anything photography for the whole week.

It will be a fabulous show. I have personally printed each photograph, and I can ensure you they are all stunning works. We have approximately 50 framed photographs on display in two different rooms.
