“OutLoud Art Prize 2025
The annual Art Prize and show held during Sydney’s Mardi Gras Festival since 1991.
Inviting Local & international LGBTQI artists to submit and show their works with opportunity to win prizes and a solo show.
An admin fee of $25 applies for each submission.
The theme is open and all mediums will be accepted (painting, photography, drawing, print or sculpture)
Final date for submission is Monday 17th Feb.

PRESENTATION NIGHT OF THE PYRMONT ART PRIZE 2024
WILL BE HELD THURSDAY 30TH MAY 6PM AT TAP GALLERY
This year’s Exhibition, again held in conjunction with the annual Pyrmont Food and Wine Fair in Pirrama Park on 18th and 19th May, was judged by Steven Patterson, CEO of Derivan Paints who has been the proud sponsor of our Art Prize for many years. His comments are added.
THE WINNERS ARE:
FIRST PRIZE – $250 worth of Derivan Paints: Wendy Howie for “Warming Winter Bones”
– One can feel the temperature and humidity, smell the grass and sense the tranquil surburban setting.
SECOND PRIZE – $175 worth of Derivan Paints: Kim Colville for “Six Minutes before Sunrise”
– Terrific use of colour and depth.
THIRD PRIZE – $100 worth of Derivan Paints: Sumei Chew for “Landscape Diptych – Dusk & Twilight”
– Hazy dreamy like depiction takes the viewer away.
THE PEOPLES’ CHOICE AWARD WINNERS ARE:
FIRST PRIZE – Kristina Kravchencki with “Cat”
JOINT SECOND PRIZE – Liz Young with “Adrift”
– Andrea Holliday with “From Here to Eternity”
– Matthew Wolfenden with “Vivid Colours”
