‘Music Beings’, a solo exhibition by Bexie Neeley, delves into the universal essence of music through prints, sound recordings and performance art. Music, a language universally understood, transcends time, records history, and holds our deepest secrets, always there when needed. This exhibition explores our interaction with music and its profound effects on us. Through introspective research into the moments music creates and interviews with both familiar faces and strangers, Bexie Neeley seeks to capture the elusive aspects of music—familiar yet unseen.

PRESENTATION NIGHT OF THE PYRMONT ART PRIZE 2024

WILL BE HELD THURSDAY 30TH MAY 6PM AT TAP GALLERY

This year’s Exhibition, again held in conjunction with the annual Pyrmont Food and Wine Fair in Pirrama Park on 18th and 19th May, was judged by Steven Patterson, CEO of Derivan Paints who has been the proud sponsor of our Art Prize for many years.  His comments are added.

THE WINNERS ARE:

FIRST PRIZE – $250 worth of Derivan Paints:   Wendy Howie for “Warming Winter Bones”

Pyrmont Art Prize 2024 - Wendy Howise - Warming Winter Bones- Tap Gallery– One can feel the temperature and humidity, smell the grass and sense the tranquil surburban setting.

SECOND PRIZE – $175 worth of Derivan Paints:   Kim Colville for “Six Minutes before Sunrise”

THIRD PRIZE – $100 worth of Derivan Paints:   Sumei Chew for “Landscape Diptych – Dusk & Twilight”
